Fred scampered off up a steep tunnelly passage. It ended
in a circular hole in the kitchen floor. It was the hole where an old water-pipe
had been taken out.
Fred dashed up until he bumped his head. Something was blocking
his way into the kitchen.
He pushed and shoved with all his might, but what ever was
above did not move.
